Canton, Cyncoed and the spread of the city
Cardiff's a city of distinct districts and the clearances vary with them. Out west in CF5 around Canton, Llandaff and Ely you get everything from Victorian terraces to post-war semis. The CF5 job was typical in another way — a full house means more than furniture. There's usually a fridge-freezer, a washing machine, sometimes a cooker to disconnect and remove, plus the loft and often a garage that between them hold more than the room count suggests. We take the lot: white goods, the contents of the loft and garage, carpets and underlay, the furniture throughout. Being straight about the distance
We'll be honest, the way we are about anywhere off our home patch: Cardiff's a fair run for us, and we won't pretend there's a depot round the corner. What we do instead is plan a South Wales trip properly and give you a firm date rather than a vague "sometime this week", so you're not left waiting on a maybe. A Cardiff house clearance often comes with a garden and a shed as part of it. That is especially so on the estate and probate houses out through CF14 and CF23, where a place has sat a while. We empty the shed, take the mower, the old furniture that has drifted outdoors and the bags of green waste.
