30 clearances have landed in Wiltshire postcodes — SN10 at Devizes most often, then SN3 in Swindon, BA14 at Trowbridge, SN1, SN12 at Melksham and SP4 near Amesbury.
Two counties in one again
Swindon is a town of its own: postwar and modern estates, driveways, turning space, and clearances mostly tied to house sales with a completion date.
The rest of the county is old, stone-built and rural. Devizes, Marlborough, Malmesbury, Corsham and the villages between have narrow lanes, listed cottages and outbuildings, and the last two hundred yards decide the day more than the contents do. Salisbury is a cathedral city with the parking to match.
The Trowbridge and Melksham side works naturally with Somerset and gets run together with it.
