The fire-damaged contents out of the property, and the garden cleared and tidied while the team were there, because an empty house with a wrecked garden attracts the next lot of trouble.
Burnt material does not travel with ordinary household waste. Nothing a fire has been through is pleasant to handle either — it is filthy, it is sharp, and it needs the right paperwork behind it, which is exactly the sort of thing that separates a firm with a carrier's licence from two lads and a Transit.
Everything afterwards went through the purchase ledger at their end, and their reply about how the documents had to be presented read: "In order to receive them on a headed paper we require a headed request with an actual signature of your director". Fair enough. We sent it as asked. Landlords, agents and housebuilders all have their own hoops and we have been through most of them by now.

What happens to it all
Furniture with plenty of use left in it does not get tipped.
