Perth is a compact stone-built city with terraces and tenements in the centre and larger villas around it. Crieff and the Highland edge are a different proposition: bigger houses, outbuildings, and drives that a Luton has to reverse out of.
The county reaches well into the hills and the northern parts are planned as trips.
Confirmation, not probate
Scottish estates go through confirmation rather than probate. The document has a different name and a different shape, and an executor searching for English forms will not find what they need. It changes nothing about how we work: we invoice the executor, the solicitor or the estate, there is no deposit, and payment can come from the estate once it settles.
