Irvine, Kilwinning, Saltcoats and the Ayrshire coast.
Irvine is a new town with planned layouts and parking that is not always at the door. Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Largs are older coastal towns — terraces, flats above shops, and retirement households with full lofts.
We do not work the islands: Arran and Cumbrae are not part of our coverage.
Confirmation, not probate
Scottish estates go through confirmation rather than probate. The document has a different name and a different shape, and an executor searching for English forms will not find what they need. It changes nothing about how we work: we invoice the executor, the solicitor or the estate, there is no deposit, and payment can come from the estate once it settles.
