Almost no houses, and one enormous estate
Fewer than ten thousand people live in the Square Mile, and most of them are in the Barbican or the Golden Lane estate. That makes clearance here a particular job: a flat in a listed concrete estate, reached by a service lift that has to be booked, along walkways where trolleys are the only way to move anything, with a car park level that vehicles use rather than a street door.
