Rhyl, Prestatyn, Denbigh and Ruthin — coast and vale in north Wales.
The coastal towns are Victorian and interwar seaside stock with a lot of converted guesthouses and flats. The Vale of Clwyd inland is farm country with steadings and market towns.
Clwyd is what people here still call the area, thirty years after the county went.
Wales has its own waste rules
Wales separates household waste more strictly than England does, and has done for years. That changes how a load is sorted before it goes anywhere, and we plan for it rather than finding out at the gate.
