19 clearances have landed in Aberdeenshire postcodes, which for a county this far north is a real number and reflects a run we make rather than a one-off.
Granite, farms and the coast
Aberdeen city and the towns around it are granite-built: solid, cold, and with tenement stairs in the older parts where everything comes down a common stair shared with neighbours.
Inland — Inverurie, Huntly, Banchory, Alford — is farm country. Houses with steadings, barns and sheds that have been filling for generations, and those hold far more than the house does.
The fishing towns on the coast are tight terraces with no parking to speak of.
Distances are real. Aberdeen to Huntly is not a short hop and the far north of the county is a planned trip.
Confirmation, not probate
Scotland handles estates differently: confirmation rather than probate, and the executor's paperwork looks unfamiliar to anyone used to English forms. It changes nothing about how we work — we invoice the executor or the solicitor and payment can come from the estate.
Sorting and disposal
Loads go through permitted transfer stations, including the Aberdeen operators at Greenbank Road, AB12 3BQ. Household waste recycling centres are for residents' own waste.
Our waste carrier registration is CBDU419679 and transfer notes come back from every load.
What we cover
